samsung swa 4000/xeu | Seem to get an awful lot of noise interference with speakers connected to unit, which results in other family members switching it off. Samsung tell me this may be due to the optical cable that I am using.
Also the fact that you have to connect rear speaker wires to unit means it is not totally wireless and therefore I think the product description is a bit misleading. I still have rear speaker wires which have to be hidden.

A must for large living-rooms | I needed a (relatively cheap) wireless amp for my living room. It's pretty much open space so i had no walls to route the wires along and running them across the room on the floor would have looked nasty. The delivery was quick (thanks Amazon), the installation was fast, everything is pretty much self-explanatory, plug and play stuff. The amp sounds great and there is no lag. I had read reviews saying it had a noisy cooling fan, but i never noticed that, my unit is very quiet.
The only reason it isn't 5 stars is the terrible documentation. I think this is a symptom of all Samsung products. I once had to move the wireless amp from one home cinema system to another and do a reset. The user manual for the SWA-4000 is just one sheet of paper and it didn't help me solve the problem, i had to look up the user manual of the home cinema and then go through a complicated sequence of resets and key presses and turning the home cinema on and off. I really think samsung should write better documentation or make the wireless pairing system automatic. | Written on 26 February 2010 | |
