Summary

(Region free, Full English language, will play on any PS3 console system)

Key to PES 7 is a proprietary adaptive AI system entitled Teamvision. Unique to the Konami game, Teamvision is a sophisticated AI programming that learns and adapts according to an individuals style of play. As such, it will learn new ways to build attacks and to counter specific movements and previous attacking or defensive errors, ensuring games are more in line with the tactical but flowing nature of the real thing.

With the Pro Evolution Soccer series renowned for its fluid, realistic gameplay, the new game builds on the implementation of Teamvision with additional key advances. As with previous releases since its inception in 1996, the ball is again treated as a separate entity, with the timing of shots entirely down to the player, while the new AI ensures that defenders work to close down space and block efforts on goal. Similarly, distribution of passes works along the same lines, with players using the space available to them to switch the ball. Close control has also been enhanced with more control when dribbling the ball, and a number of subtle moves added to bypass defenders and move the ball into space.

Working in conjunction with the Teamvision system, every aspect of Pro Evolution Soccer 2008s on-field play has been reworked and fine-tuned to create the balanced and strategic play of a high stakes match. Set-pieces have been improved, with full control given over the number of players and the position of the defensive wall. A wider range of set piece options are also available to make use of specific talents within the team.

A lying, cynical disgrace of a game

Want to play "realistic" football? Want a game to attempt to convince you that it's authentic by marring your gameplay with ludicrous factors beyond your control and channeling everything through a mediocre physics engine? Want your style of gameplay to be battered into submission so that your experience of this game is akin to untying and extremely awkward knot for 20 minutes? Well this is the game for you! Hell, it'll even reward your opponents with absurdly gifted goals WITHOUT FAIL until you understand who's "boss"!

If that sounds like fun to you, then by all means bow the knee to the Church of Konami and rinse this game to death. Or you could not give these idiots any money and actually buy a game that isn't so overtly a deplorable scam.

And to top it up, you'll be commentated on by a new team with all the insight of a lemming colony. It just gets better!

not competing with EA sports

I really dont think anyone is coming close to competing with EA sports right now. We all know fifa has been closing in recently and just how good tiger woods is. Something you may not know however is JUST HOW GOOD MADDEN 09 is. It will blow you away even if youre not a huge fan. you will be
MADDEN NFL 09 (PS3)

It's a good game

I got this game with my spending money because I was fed up off playing with retired players on Pro evoloution soccer 3 (thats old). I was expecting it 2 be da same but u know what it has a huge difference such as it shows the referee u choose which ball you want to play with and what I wanted da most, it had all da knew players. DA thing which I like
about the game is that the awsome players such as Christiano Ronaldo does tricks on his own when other players come to tackle him. BUt da thing is not all the players look da same as on real football, tores has short hair, Beckham looks toooooooootally different.
Overall buy it!
